The old-fashioned way to make pickles was to ferment them in a wooden barrel of salt brine. We use glass these days instead of wood to make our Garlic Dill Gherkins, but the lacto-fermentation process is similar.
Be sure to save the brine for use later. It’s loaded with healthy probiotics.
Ingredients: Cucumbers, Brine (Water, Pink Salt), Garlic, Spices.
Refrigerate for best quality.
